Nice figures. Still can't grasp why .guru surpassing .technology.

One can only presume that it was an earlier release and GDs website showed MyWebsite.guru a couple days ago first, now photography is first and guru second. Photography could pick up in the microniche it has, but that ticker if you look at it is subliminal and if you only take 3 seconds glance, guru pops out.

Would be interesting to see if GD has the majority of guru registrations.

There has been no change in the top 2 (guru/photography) since the very start. I think he means, why guru has higher numbers than photography overall.

.guru is generic, .technology is niche

Whatever keyword or phrase you can think of, you can append "guru" and it makes sense...

Generic or not it is going to be a hard sell.

I agree. .guru doesn't really offer something to the "conversation". Why .guru and not .org, for instance, which is perceived as a trusted extension.
