very nice names you have there, hard to say where to start!

Thanks HugeGrowth for your nice comments.

Any suggestions on development, especially which could be the easiest domain to develop?

Regards.

Note I'm from Spain and some words may vary in usage and meaning for Spanish speakers in America.

My comments follow (Please, forgive my English I just wrote too fast):

About Sobre.Mobi --- this can be a mega site like about dot com

Problem here is Sobre sound more like the English word Envelope. If you do the work it could be what you say but at first moment it sounds more like a postal service.

Accounting Contabilidad.Mobi

Contabilidad is a main subject for everyone studying economics or similar. Very known word but I can't imagine a mobile service.

Act Acto.Mobi

You could sell theater tickets. Acto is each of the parts which divide a theater representation (sorry, I think I'm just inventing words in English).

Ask Pedir.Mobi --- this can be a mobile search engine

This sound more like begging, not asking. Maybe a friendly service where people beg for pardon or ask for a dating (pedir para salir) and could send a personalized message? Again, you'll have to develop it.

Bad Malo.Mobi
Beautiful Hermoso.Mobi
Boat Barco.Mobi

There are many yachting companies in Spain, we are a country sorrounded by water and with Islands Canarias and Baleares. This industry moves a lot of money.

Care Cuidado.Mobi
Cash Efectivo.Mobi

Paying services with mobile? Efectivo also means somethings that works.

Cat Gato.Mobi

Lot of people love kitties and personalize mobiles with images and animations.

Computer Computadora.Mobi

This sounds more like Spanish in America.

Degrees Grados.Mobi

I think you were focusing in degrees as training which sounds good in SouthAmerica not in Spain. Grados here (or there!) are referred to temperature.

Discount Descuento.Mobi

You could create a directory of physical shops offering discounts.

Divorce Divorcio.Mobi

Matrimonial lawyers.

Fashion Manera.Mobi

Manera is not really Fashion, at least in Spain, but the way you behave. It's more like modus operandi (nothing to do with fashion).

Financial Financiero.Mobi

Good for banking. El or Mi "Financiero" could be sort of financial advisor.

Foods Alimentos.Mobi

Buying alimentos online isn't having too much success although some supermarket companies could be interested in it. Also for some nutritional advices.

Form Forma.Mobi

Estar en "Forma" means to be in good shape.

Girl Muchacha.Mobi

More used the word chica.

Government Gobierno.Mobi

Maybe politicians will buy you this :)

Group Grupo.Mobi

"Grupo" de música it's like Music Group.

Happy Feliz.Mobi

What do you do when you're happy?

Homes Hogares.Mobi

Decoration portal.

Institute Instituto.Mobi

Instituto is like High School or Junior High? (I used to see Degrassy Junior High at TV when I was a teen LOL)

In instituto study people since 12 to 18. Not sure about ages but these kids are really savvy with mobiles.

Learn Aprender.Mobi

Where to learn to... portal.

Opportunity Oportunidad.Mobi

Looking for a job? We'll give you una oportunidad...

Sexy Atractivo.Mobi
Solutions Soluciones.Mobi
Student Estudiante.Mobi
Students Estudiantes.Mobi

Style Estilo.Mobi

Trend magazine.

Tax Impuesto.Mobi
Teens Adolescentes.Mobi
Test Prueba.Mobi

Prueba as medic analytics or prueba as casting (actors, singers...)

Training Entrenamiento.Mobi

Entrenamiento sounds like sport training. Mental training also but not something very formal like do training at companies.

Ugly Feo.Mobi

Humoristic site.

Vitamin Vitamina.Mobi
Vitamins Vitaminas.Mobi

Nutritional information.

Win Triunfo.Mobi

There's a TV show in Spain where some newbies sing and try to learn in an academy... etc I think this format is international. This show here is called Operación Triunfo.

In some card games triunfo is the highest value you can get.

Solution Solucion.Mobi

Maybe a services portal to find plumbers, etc...

Smart Elegante.Mobi

Clothes for the Gentlemen

Management Gerencia.Mobi
Grants Concesiones.Mobi

Can' see commercial usage on this, in Spain. A concesión is what you give when you negotiate but more in a moral way...

Focus Foco.Mobi

Foco is the light you use when you shoot a movie (spot light?). Maybe in SouthAm means focus.

Broker Corredor.Mobi

Broker or Corredor are both known. Related to insurances or the stock market. Again, el "Corredor" o mi "Corredor" could be some advisor. Or display stock values...

Brokers Corredores.Mobi

Corredores in plural sound to me more like people interested in moto or car racing. You know, Fernando Alonso :)

Consultant Consultor.Mobi
Consultants Consultores.Mobi

More difused because you can do consultancy for everything...

Boy Muchacho.Mobi
Boys Muchachos.Mobi

Being Chico or chicos more common words.

Hope this helps...

grados de la universidad = college degrees

grado de la universidad = college degree

I checked with few people and they all told me this.

Now I am kind of confused:)

If we check grado at dictionary one meaning is related with what your people say (I guess they may be hispanic not spaniards or maybe they speak in a very formal way):

4. m. En las enseñanzas media y superior, titulo que se alcanza al superar determinados niveles de estudio. Grado de bachiller, de doctor

But noone says today "grado de bachiller". Very rare.

At very basic education level you get "un titulo de graduado escolar".

At very high education level you obtain "el grado de doctor" (PhD). But this is very formal and talking we just say "Soy doctor en... whatever subject".

We use to say: "obtener un titulo de licenciado en Historia" (get a degree in history) o "licenciarse en Historia" but I never heard "obtener un grado en Historia".

Thinking more on this word, you know freemasons? They use this word 'grado' to organize themself. They say: "I'm Maestro Mason, Grado 18, etc, etc..." The word grado has been eradicated from popular education structure (maybe because not emphasize the different steps and don't promote classism) and is used in more exclusive circles...

grado.mobi can be a good brand name but it's no so intuitive for students at college (and i'm one of those).

college degree = titulo universitario

If you search in Google for "titulo universitario" (with "") you'll find more pages and from Spain. If you search for "grado de la universidad" you'll find less pages and from South America or North Am.

Let me know any more doubts.

Spanish is a very unpractical language.
Really, I can say about "grados", since I also work in a university in Mexico.
It is not used alone. I only see grado when used in conjunction with "academic".
So, it is common to say "grado académico", but not "grado" alone.
However, it is widely used in "postgrado", posgraduate, like masters or phds.
