We had and have (am sure) too many legislators legislating for their own interests (bribes, kickbacks, and down right stupidity). We should be in a great economic paradise and it wound up a deepening hell. Ask Alice how deep the hole is.

Not just the legislators, everyone who has the power to do this.

Executives cutting payrolls, halting benefits yet giving themselves larger bonuses.
Stimulus dollars that are supposed to help hire more workers are being used to give current executives bonuses and what little is left is given to employees as OT.
