A client of mine had a domain registered through a reseller which is out of business now - hasn't been functioning for weeks.

He wants to regain control over the name, but I think the registrar-lock indicates that it cannot be transferred.

Is there any way to get back the domain - through eNom or ICANN or something?

Thanks for your help.

The info on the domain is as follows:
Domain Name: ****.COM
Registrar: ENOM, INC.
Whois Server: whois.enom.com
Referral URL: http://www.enom.com
Name Server: NS3A.DNSWITHUS.COM
Name Server: NS3B.DNSWITHUS.COM
Status: REGISTRAR-LOCK
Updated Date: 17-dec-2002
Creation Date: 17-dec-2002
Expiration Date: 17-dec-2003

Call eNom's tech support. You can probably get the domain unlocked if your provide them with some proof that you are the registrant, and the email address too of the admin contact.

He should be able to login into the domain through my Topnames.com interface. I'm an Enom reseller and I manage a lot of domains registered on other sites on mine.

I had a similar problem once the crapy RegisterFly reseller was not able to unlock a domain I had there.
I contacted eNom and they fixed the problem, pulling the domain to an eNom account.
