I just saw two members list the same thing multiple times.

One listed a solicitation for domains in five different price categories.

Another listed the same type of solicitation in three price categories.

When I log on I go to unread posts. I have to wade through these things to find something of relevance.

Solution: If your budget is $1000, you don't have to list it in everything leading up to that.

If your budget is unspecified, same thing.

I think start to giving point/infraction would help. Issue warning does not seem to work.
If it is a newbie mistake, then that is acceptable.

But this is getting ridiculous.

If it is the same members over and over, then someone needs counseling or a "time out".

I normally don't give newbie a hard time. I am talking about OLDbie and yes there are only a couple members keep doing this over and over thinking that mod/admin will be sleeping.

They don't know one thing - we don't sleep.

the problem is "price categories"

if there would be no "price categories", there would be only one listing

i never liked these categories either

That was brought about to differentiate all the sales threads, mostly the subpar.

But if no one is using a certain category then perhaps that needs to fall off.

Besides, everyone thinks their domain is worth a fortune.

They don't know one thing - we don't sleep.
I was asleep when the offer for partners/buyers of the land in China being made. :asleep:

Can we open that thread back up?

I will talk to Jarred about add/change the rules in this section so there can only be ONE request.
It is a common sense but if people don't want to use common sense then we need to change common rule.

What's up with the people that put their domains in an auction and then say... "auction ends 24 hours after last bid"

Since when can you not have an end date? Then they pretend to have a bid by "pm" so they can avoid selling it for a low price! This is unfair.

That practice is against the rules and it's being etched into them right now.
Thank you for the suggestion.

I agree, newbies don't know and a simple PM from a moderator and they usually learn.

Veteran members seem to forget about the anti-spamming rules. I'd say start giving them infractions.

Don't forget all of the ones who don't follow the rules for domain sales, too.

I kinda like that, though. It encourages people to just bid if they want it and not wait until the last second (when the thread is on page 7 or 8) and can prevent bid-sniping.

i kinda get annoyed, when you post a bid, then have no respond or pm's , forget about it, then a week after or so you'll get pm that your bid was accepted bla bla

We left them because there is no work there!!!

I think what we need is only ONE wanted section. OP must state the range. Multiple sections not only create confusing but it also make it difficult to navigate - Hence they don't get much response.

My 3 cents.
