Overture(OVT) rank. Help! Please!

I simply don't understand. I type in the term addictivegame.com in the OVT search term bar and get this result:

241 addictivegame.com

I then type in the term addictive game and get this:

Count Search Term
31489 addictive game
678 .com addictive game
490 addictive game online
393 addictive free game
337 addictive com game

So I try addictive game.com and get:

Searches done in March 2004
Count Search Term
84 addictive game.com

Just so that I'm totally confused I try game.com:

Searches done in March 2004
Count Search Term
1703 game.com
1020 game.com yahoo
786 game.com mafia
586 free game.com
550 addicting game.com

Can anyone tell me why I get so many different results although many of the terms I put in are almost the same? What are people searching for? What are they typing in? How do I know what the actuall .com name will get as far as traffic goes? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Search for addictivegame.com is specific and returns a number for searches for THAT site in the month.
Others come under the heading of:-

Not sure what search terms to bid on?
Enter a term related to your site and we will show you:

Related searches that include your term
How many times that term was searched on last month

Searches that "include your term" may not be for your term, they will be more general searches that happen to contain part or all of your term, hence the numbers may/will be different.
