Found it, thanks. It takes a while before the DNS is activated to be able to manage the forwarding path.

Do other Moniker users here get it for free? strange.

Why on earth would you pay $6 PER DOMAIN for URL forwarding?? I'm not a big fan of registrars' add-on services and have never use any (even when they are free), but at least I know there are hosts which do NOT charge a dollar extra just for that.

Mole must be wealthy as forwarding is FREE at GoDaddy d:) and others too.

P.S. Better yet, get your own colocated dedicated server and most everything is free, including capacity to host hundreds of websites, sell hosting, forwarding, domain pointing, unlimited email, sub-domains, etc. Cost is only about $100 or so per month, less than $400 for 3-mos., even with partial management and support included. Plus, it gets even better as you are then in charge and not at the mercy of 3rd parties.

Mole,

I just checked my Moniker acct. And, it is setup to charge me $ 6.00 for
url forwarding.

I never noticed it before because I just enter a server name.

Eventhough, Monte is a class act. Shame on him for sticking that on
my discounted reseller acct.

However, on the other hand, his customer service people were
fantastic earlier this week. I had a major problem and it was RESOLVED
within two hours of me discovering it.

#1 - "Buy URL Forwarding" under the "Shop @ Moniker.com" section
#2 - Then go to "URL Forwarding" under "Domains @ Moniker.com" section and activate the forwarding.

Why pay for forwarding?

Save that $ 6.00 and transfer the domain to a registrar that
doesn't charge for url forwarding like Enom.

Pay $ 7.00 for a transfer. And, get free url forwarding and
one add'l year. d:)

Mole & All,

Of course we charge a fee for URL forwarding through retail but Forum members do get forwarding for free. Most registrars do charge for URL Forwarding and if they do not, that is because they typically charge more than $7 per domain. There are pennies of margin in domain registrations folks - and even less since the ICANN Budget increase.

Mole, email me your account number and I will set your forwarding price $0 and put a domain credit in your account to use. Anyone else want free URL forwarding, just email me at [email protected]. Bidawinner, don't worry, I just raised your forwarding fees to $12 per year because your bitching costs all of us money....ha ha.

Thanks for the heads up, I will take care of it.
