Hi,

I have recently parked an adult orientated name at Sedo, but the system won't allow me to set up any adult keywords for the domain and is just showing a general search page. How do I get around this please?

Thanks

Sedo is good for many things but adult domain names are not one.

Hi there,

Just thought I'd drop by. Our advertising partner doesn't allow one-click advertising for adult pages as they are a family-friendly firm and online etiquette dictates that someone typing in a domain that could have adult connotations would not be taken to a site that could be considered offensive by the unwary viewer.
As a result, the best way to optimize adult domains is by typing in "adultportal". This takes the viewer to an adult portal site where they can then click and be taken through to more targeted ads - i.e. a two-click system. This has surprisingly positive results with many users regularly getting over 20% CTR.
Although we are satisfied with our current system, we are looking to offer an improved service for our customers with adult names, so hopefully I can post some good news on this front in the near future.
As usual, feel free to contact me personally with any questions or requests you may have.
Thanks
Ed

While the current system did "ok" for me when I tried it, I firmly believe that someone typing in "teensf*ckucking.com" would be offended by porn links... especially if it stays just link.
