Over the years, I have noticed that every 6 hours in delay in posting the estimate revenue to actual, reduce my revenue by xx%.

And, whenever it goes for a couple days, they really put it to you.

Percentage decrease for the past 3 days. Est. to actual.
friday 11% decrease.
Sat. 63% decrease.
Sunday 35% decrease.

Ironically, TZ went up for the past 3 days.
I assume TZ and PK use the same secondary suppliers.
I guess TZ absorbs the difference from est. to actual when there is a delay from the secondary supplier.
Whereas, PK ???

All of this on the back of the major decrease in revenue for the past 3 months, not traffic.

I had 2 people contact me tonight asking if my PK numbers also went down.
So, I know it is not just me.

What percentages are others seeing?

actnow - Actually us and TrafficZ do have different secondary providers. We have 15 providers today. I can't see all of the data yet as it's not available to me right now, but on Friday we were down 2% from the previous Friday, but up 5% from the Friday before. So I'm not seeing anything out of the ordinary right now.

Argh - had what was almost a $6 click a couple days ago turn into a .57 click today. I suspect Donny was fighting for it though. Oh well, developed the site over the weekend, put it online instead.

Sunday 7% decrease.

Are you guessing?

Or, are you basing your stats on actual data that was supplied by Parked
while it was sitting in estimate?

I know from experience that when Parked is delayed (6 hours to days) in posting
actual revenue from posted estimated revenue, the revenue is going to drop.

So, I always capture the data just so I can see how much it drops.
And, what has always confused me is why - longer the delay more drastic the drop.

I can tell you that overall our estimates are higher than the final numbers 65% of the time. But that's overall not on an account level.

Tony - Not a single one of those clicks on Sunday was from the US. On Saturday about 75% was from the US. :)

Today the traffic analysis is the past 5 days of finalized raw data. We are working on the ability to see the information on a daily basis now.

I wish we could offer some help. As a programmer I do understand what they are trying to do. They are being lazy, been there many times. I would think they could easily change it to a md5 hash of the id + the domain or something similiar. Something that can not be reversed.

I think until they lock it down, I might curl their site a few times. :)

What's that url?

No, was calculated. But to be honest it usually goes down 5-15%. I took a 60% hit one day a few weeks ago and it stung so I understand your frustration.
