Rather, who doesn't pay? Can you share any parking service that doesn't charge domain owners to park? Some charge up front, others charge via a commission on ad revenues, others do both. But none of them are doing charity work out of the goodness of their hearts. Personally I like having more choices in an open market, nothing wrong with "out of the box" thinking and more content-oriented parking options, and it just may be that we are actually paying the purportedly "free" parking services the most by receiving an increasingly smaller share of the revenue pie.
I want to add that it is rather disappointing to come into this thread in search of informative reviews about a new parking service, and find the pffffft and nahhhh from folks who apparently didn't even bother to check out the actual service offerings, nor base their negative input on any identifiable personal experience. :sigh2: Looks like I may have to plunk down a few bucks and check it out for myself. :approve:
I have checked their site, before posting in here. There is different understanding of paying. With parketeer, you pay in advance and it does not depend if you earn $1000 or 0.
And I have full right to make comment myself and it should not disappoint you or anyone else. It is my opinion and you can take it into consideration or you may not, it is up to you. So it's not you, who should judge what others post on this forum.
Now let's start pointing out some features I do not like:
"All Adwords Profits Are Yours" - Can someone explain to me what does it mean? It is actually Adsense and not Adwords.
"Most of the other domain parking systems take 20% to 50% or more of your ad revenue. We don't take any. All your ad revenue is yours. Some companies do allow you to keep 80% to 100% of the ad revenue but the upfront fees are around $100 dollars or more per year, our fees are $24 per year" - Actually there is huge difference between parking companies and parketeer's service. Parking Companies do not normally have content placed on the landing pages. Most Domain Parking systems have revenue share of 50+%, but they have far better contract with Ad Provider (Google, Overture). So getting 100% of Adsense Revenue may be less in many cases than 50+% revenue share from parking companies.
I think it would be enough for today.
