PARTS.NET $5001 on NW is it worth it?

I know it has over 25,000+ links and is a good name, but can it be sold for much more? Just wondering, how well i am understanding this game ;)

I agree, I didn't want to say it, before getting a few opinions, but this was low. Paintball.net sells retail for 45k? and resellers are only willing to go $5001? for this, hmm. I would put more value on this than the paintball domain. Just didn't have the funds to go any higher.

I was contemplating it at $4000 but decided it was too much of a risk which it probably wasn't.

OK next time a big one drops, all us low financed reseller, we pool our assets, and get a big one, then turn around and sell it the next day on ebay with a starting price of our NW bid :)

Good idea!

Yet a great deal of trust is involved and risk.

The holder of the funds, could "take the $ and run"

OR

The bidder could bid high and get the name, sell it on a 3 day auction on ebay ($100 featured auction i think)

and when sold, all invested money goes to the bidder and the price it sold for would be then (after bidder is reinbursed) be distributed according to the members investment.

The CC bill would come in a month :D

and the bidder would (hopefully) be able to pay the CC bill on time!

That is amazing - They have their own pipe to the registry and still bid $5K+ at namewinner - They must have really wanted this one -
