Damnit. I just want to be able to send money through Paypal.

I have done the following:

* Confirmed my email adress

* Added a Credit Card

* Confirmed my Paypal Membership

However, when I try to send money to someone, it tells me:

"To complete this payment, please add a Mastercard, American Express, or Discover card."


Why do I need to do that?! I only want to send the damn paypal money!

Can someone help?

I'm not 100% sure, but PayPal.com SEEMS to have implemented a new policy a while ago that requires INTERNATIONAL members to verify with a credit card. Anyone?

yeah, but i added a VISA. Shouldn't that be enough?

PayPal is an American company for the use of Americans. Any non-american is treated as cannon fodder and used to attempt to maintain their profit growth. The advertising is fictional and I understand that it is being revued by the British Government and other European trade bodies. They are a disgrace to America, and should be used strictly at you own risk - expect to receive hidden charges. Do not allow you account to accept payments by credit card. This will leave you open to buyer chargeback frauds and as a non-american there is little you can do about it.

Im using only VISA with International account.

Although, they've might changed their policy for new members...

Me too, I used my Visa when I signed up a while back. I know my card had to be verified. They put a small charge through with a code that had to be given back to PP as confirmation.

I had to call my CC company to get this code.

Not sure if this has anything to do with your problem.

I was able to send money without the verification code from CC statement.

I have to raise some f*ckin limit in order to send money.

The limit is set at 0.00 dollars =(
