Pending Delete Domain

Hello,

There is a domain I'm watching and it says "HOLD, PENDING DELETE SCHEDULED FOR RELEASE" on the WHOIS but the expiration date says 2010 and the update date was 2009-03

Can anyone please explain what is happening here with the domain? as I would like to purchase it. Also, a date of which it will become publicly available for purchase on GD or 123-reg

Chances are that one of the big domain name houses has already got it to auction if off like snapnames.com. So check out that territory to see if you want to get involved in paying bigger bucks for the name!
