Not much, if any, as a stand alone name, but it is easy to spell and seems to fit for a site. Sell and selling are generally negative terms in commerce, though. But I think it might work if by penny you mean a site where lots of very inexpensive products are traded, sold, exchanged. Or if you are talking about people who collect pennies. The name has a certain rhythm to it, so if it fits what you are doing I think you have a decent name.

Thanks man. It's going to be a penny auction website. It's going to havea really big twist in it.. The site is going to be like swoopo.com but with a really cool twist.

google cpc for 'penny' is 1.41 cpc LOL inflation, a penny is worth 1.41 a click now a days

damn the floor feels cold

hell must be freezing over

watever likes something

LOL

without development mid XX

but if you're a IT maven that can do a custom auction script, since all canned ones are hacked, and can't run a commercial auction site, and you get traffic from clever seo, or have googles of bucks to brand it...

only major problem I see besides all the usual development projects is you are appealing to the listers and not the buyers

so you get 'listers' 'selling' stuff

the onus should be on 'buys' or 'bids' or something like that

I checked, every clever one of saying 'penny' or 'cent' with buying onus instead of selling onus is gone

estibot thinks it's worth 150

they got 1400 on pennybids.com

they got a zero on pennysales.com which is probably the best one

so much for estibot

while the novelty of a 'penny' is cute, the reality is one buck is where a business can make money, so like the one buck store chain, maybe a viable auction with stuff at a buck is a more viable project

but it's a cute play on words and if it happened selling stuff for a 'penny' no one can make a living

but somehow those chains make money at a buck

so if you want to specialize in 'cheap' at least at a buck you can charge a listing fee and the owner maybe makes a few pennies if they do volume

so mid XX with estibot saying 150

cute play on words, but I hate to agree with watever, but the target maybe should be on the buying at a penny not the selling

good luck, I got to get a sweater, we just had a global dip in temperature due to hell freezing over

LOL

Please stay on the topic "appraisal the domain" based on what you think the value is.
We don't need to turn the thread into an argument who is right and wrong.
