I've got a snap on a name and now I'm confused. It says its in registrar-hold but both dates show it expiring 2004. I don't know if its ok to take off the snap or not.

if the regstrar did not receive payment from the registrant - they may delete the domain.
if the registrar whois shows 2004 as well - then the domain was renewed and you may remove snap.
if the registrar whois shows 2003 - do not remove the snap...
AS THE DOMAIN HAVE BEEN REMOVED FROM ROOT NAME SERVERS - this may be additional sign to remain active snap on it.

Root name servers may not have this domain, while all whoisrd shows nameservers - this is OK
