Please appraise Photo-Grapher.com, thanks.

Photo-Grapher.com is easy to remember and looks nice on a biz card...

thats funny I have a bid on it on $350 and I have not started to promot this domain. But $350 thats is only what a photographer makes on selling 2 photos to a newspaper.

IF your gonna ask for appraisals...you can't be defensive about what you get for responses. If all you want to hear is its worth 10k then its best not to ask at all.

Everyone has opinions and different valuation models...some good...some not so good. Some based on sound logic some on gut feeling ....

In the case of your name the value is drastically diminished with the hyphen.
No one will type that in like that off the top of their head. IT would be a fine domain for a photographers site. But its not a million dollar domain.

I would say take the $350 and be very happy. Don't make the mistake most of us have made or continue making by passing up a good legit offer for that possible big score. Most of the time that big score doesn't happen.

What did you pay for the name? $8? so at $350 your making 45x+- what ya paid...thats not to bad.

Unfortunately, hyphens really kill it for people in terms of vanity value. That name sounds like a half-baked photographer.

Personal I think photo-grapher.com is a lot better than a
regular YourNamephotography.com or yournamephotograper.com
usely thats is only good if your customer can spell your name correctly, or have your biz card handy.

If you where a photographer I think you will give this domain more value.

Sad but true! I would also take the $350 in this case.

Good luck!

I am a Photographer/Designer/Illustrator.... :D Look at my profile if interested.

I also happen to have a name kinda in the realm of yours my-designer.com
I like it but have no illusions about its worth. If someone offered me $350 for it, I would jump on it: ) Right now I just use it as a redirect to my main site.

I am not bashing your name....like I said I think its a fine name for a photographer. But its not a high value name...that doesn't make it a bad name.

As to being better than "yourname"photography.com that would depend on your name and your marketing plan. Just some thoughts...take em or leave em : )
