I was advised to visit Greece Aug-Sept. Greece has been in the news all too much in recent years, and mostly for unpleasant reasons.
The country is undergoing an economic crisis, many of its inhabitants are experiencing what one might euphemistically call âdifficult timesâ, and things are unlikely to improve very quickly. Thus, it is hardly a surprise to find various discussions, on the internet and elsewhere, about the question whether this is a good time to visit the country.
Also, late August - early-mid September should be great time of the year as the weather in not that hot anymore and crowds are gone.
Thoughts?
