I like any "local" services type domain, so I guess the question is local-service better than city-service
its a tough question, it could be developed in to a directory or geo-location iPhone app

I would say mid $x,xxx

Honestly, I like it. I would give you a valuation of $1,000 to $5,000. Most variations of local + JOB have been taken. Localphysicians.com is for sale at $5,000. Localplumber.com is also for sale at $5,000. Do you own either of those? If not, that definitely limits the domains potential.

Seeing that these guys can make upwards of $100 an hour self-employed, I would make this a keeper and a lead generating site for the high density areas first such as NYC and take a percentage of the job or a designated CPL. Afterwards, branch outwards and try to make more from the urban areas if they will pay higher CPL than those located in the metropolitan areas.

I would agree low XXXX to mid XXXX if you want to sell it, but with work it has the potential to make that in 6 months or less. After you get a lot of leads going, make a back end for electricians to bid on the lead (having a job description) and if you provide quality leads, companies will only come back to bid higher and higher.

Good luck.

I don't like it much. And I don't think that asking price of similar domains is a proper indicator of domain value, I'd check past sales.
