Recently, there have been numerous derogatory remarks being posted in other people's sales threads. Comments like "This name blows" or "Did you miss the decimal point" are outright unprofessional.

Domain name sellers are free to try to get any price for their name. You do NOT have to agree with their asking price, but please respect their right to ask whatever price they want. Opinions are best left for the appraisal section (feel free to rip the name to shreads if it is put up for appraisal).

Most people do not mind the occasional plug or thumbs up that appear in some threads, but lets please keep the negative remarks out of the sales threads!

Happy Selling! :D

FIRST OFF BRITISHANGEL IS A SHE. YES A SHE A LADY NOT A MAN so please do me the courtesy of getting my gender right.
Secondly my remark may have been a little offhand i do apologise for that it should have been PM'D but i was trying to assist a member here to get more responsiveness from his ads. In the future i will leave Stuff well alone.
Thirdly I do not appreciate derogatory comments about me or my oppinions sweetheart. If i said something wrong let me know by asking me to edit or saying "you know i don't think that was fair" don't sit there and bash me when you don't know if what i did was intentional or not! You have no right to come in and talk about me, you know nothing about me, as i had no right to leave the post i did, even though it was unintentional. Another point...i notice that even though i addressed your point in your post Stuff that you didn't thank me for the info i gave, instead you decide it would be nicer to get on at me for something that you didn't like!
Again i apologise for saying your names were a little too steep, but that wasn't exactly the meanest of comments i've seen far worse. This forum as i knew it is for buyers and sellers alike, just because i'm not buying your names doesn't mean i don't have a place here. Your thoughts are your thoughts and likewise if you don't like me to share mine you are certainly not permitted to share yours about another member. This type of conduct I know is definately not accepted here.

And You know everything about me? "trying to assist a newer member here" -- Aha where do You took that I am a newer member then You? I don`t need Your info, so please keep that in mind, and don`t post in my sales thread`s anymore, If I need any info then I know who can I ask for it, and this will not be YOU.

AND IF I NEED AN APPRAISAL THEN I WILL POST MY NAMES IN APPRAISAL THREAD, NOT IN SALES THREAD, MY ENGLISH IS BAD BUT SO MUCH I KNOW, WHERE IS APPRAISAL SECTION AND WHERE IS SALES SECTION.

Bottom line: no more "hmmm's...." in sales threads.

I follow this rule for sales threads of others:
If I don't have anything 100% positive to say, I don't even bother posting.

please note i edited my thread as soon as i posted it because you are not a newer member. It's great that you don't need my help because i won't offer it anymore but please don't ask if you don't want an answer, i posted the reply directly to a question you had asked NOT JUST BECAUSE I FELT LIKE IT! Get your anger under control sweetheart i don't know everything about you and don't care to thankyou. Sorry you feel the way you do considering the circumstances it's better we don't have any communication again. Have a great life and good luck with your sales!

I have nothing against You but this posting in other`s sales thread`s goes to my nerves. If You need many posts, then post in appraisal thread`s! And if the prices are to high for You, then ask for discount or something like that!

In this forum many members have closed his/her sales thread, because someone posted something neg, thats not nice, and I say again, if I wan`t appraisal I post it in apprsaisal section. Or PM, why **** up other members sale?

You pinpoint me for posting in other members sales threads? Take a look at every single one of mine there are none that were not interfered with by other members. Only once have i made a comment like that and it was unfortunately in yours. I have already apologised for it which is more than anyone else has done. It took me coming out with a thread about who i am to get any kind of apology from anyone. Please also don't let this fact get on your nerves too much after you take a look at our dear namepoppers posting: http://dnforum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=24089 Namepopper is a very considerate and strong member here and rarely tells something that isn't true.

I don't think you should be allowed to post ANY comments(good or bad) in sales threads unless you have made an offer in the same post.

I know people post comments like "nice name" etc, sometimes just to offer a bump to a friend's sales thread. Just post the word "bump" instead.

Think of it this way, if you had placed an offer on a name in a sales thread, would you like other people posting comments that might inflate the price? Just as the seller dislikes comments that might defalte the price.

If it's such a nice name, put an offer on it yourself or remain silent.
If it's such a poor name, move on without saying anything.

Cheers

Hey... Once I really DID mistake a "." for a ","!

But that was because I'm from Holland. Over there the . and ,'s are swapped. :)
