Hi all,

I'm trying to make a list of all the things that you could put into a database about a business. For example, a jewellery shop on the high street, or a bathroom equipment store on an industrial estate. This database is NOT necessarily for pubic viewing.

Some of the obvious:

Business owner name
Type: Ltd/partnership/sole
Tax: VAT/sales tax reference
Corp registration number
VoIP/SIP
Email
Web
Address
Tel
Fax
Mob
Small summary of business activity
Payment methods
Hours of business
Belongs to local trade associations
Business directory memberships
Lat/Longt/Alt by GPS
Photograph
Opening hours
Out of hours contact
Emergency keyholder
Insurers

Etc.

If anyone can add to this I would VERY much appreciate it.

Thanks!

1] quarterly or annual sales, thus summarizing the approximate size of business
2] looking for partners/investment - yes, no...
3] how long in business?

previous post did mention turnover, date of incorporation...

# 2 will give a prospective investors quick knowledge if a listing need to be solicited...

Not forgetting the main contact. the owner of the business may not be the one that you are always talking to. He may not always make the decisions either so the main decision would be of benefit.

For example I am a business accounts manager of a well known uk computer company. if you wanted to buy item you would not want to talk to the owner of the PLC.

Kind Regards
