I kinda like the design, and the somewhat distracting background is no big deal for me. But it is not instantly clear what it's all about (what is offered, what I can do). I need to think, and I hate that

It loads now for me.

The WordPress based design is quite uninspiring, for the particular domain's focus.

The logo is reminiscent of a highway project versus something focused on locality. I would use a visual that contain a shop/store/city subject.

Overall, the design lacks ample negative space, and the background makes a great wallpaper if you like Picasso.

You need to change the text in your footer. It reads "You can change this text using Theme Setting > Footer".

On the upside, I like the domain.

On the downside, the design isn't particularly awesome.

I really don't like the background image - I find it very distracting.

I also agree with Theo, the logo isn't great.

Otherwise, it's a great first attempt. Don't take any of the criticisms personally. Websites get better overtime if you're committed for the long haul.

I agree with the above posters. I would emphasize the lack of any discernible benefit.

Why would I, as a consumer, want to spend any of my valuable time on your site?

Figure out your USP (unique selling proposition, for you non-marketing folk), and make it clear right up front. Otherwise, you'll never retain any of the traffic you might be able to attract.
