Look guys, I proposed .na for North America several years ago. As an e-business owner, I'd much rather target a continent than a country by using country codes. Also, there is no doubt that Google treats country-specific domain extensions differently than .com domains for example. A .in domain does better ranking on Google.in for example than google.com search rankings.
Continent specific extensions can also ally with related continent extensions for a broader audience, such as .na and a .eu domain integration alliance where both can rank well for each other's audience. Do you understand what I am saying? ccTLDs are good, but not good enough. ccTLDs should be for county-specific organizations etc. Continent-specific with alliances could really help e-businesses be able to target a specific range of audience, such as mine - an American based online business in which I want to target only to North America and Europe. I'd love the .na availability and the ability to have it ally with .eu as well.
.na <--> .eu
.eu <--> .na
.sa <--> .eu
