State by state will have legalization and distribution of marijuana (Obama will not block state laws), but it will take time. As of now, since it illegal to distribute as far as my knowledge in Colorado (A64 may amend that) and other states- I believe that this is a 'keeper' for the time being with 0 to reg value... unless the owner wants to open a dispensary and be locked away for delivering. There are other avenues such as pharmacies that do deliver to the sick and elderly, but unsure of the legalities of marijuana for that. With time, I believe the value of this domain will grow, but not reach beyond low four figures as there will be high taxation on such a product. A better name would be having 247 come first as it could be a business name and come in the beginning of the phone book, thus adding more value.
I agree DW. I think I will be holding this one for a couple/few years until it starts getting sexy. Right now it is a bit of a dog, but I see much potential down the road.
There is little demand for 20-character mixed letter and number names. The pattern [keyword]delivery247.com doesn't help.
diaperdelivery247.com - available
milkdelivery247.com - available
grocerydelivery247.com - available
liquordelivery247.com - available
pizzadelivery247.com - available
tobaccodelivery247.com - available
waterdelivery247.com - available
etc.
The appraised name is a $10/yr cash termite that should be sprayed with grace delete pesticide. ainkiller:
It's not bad as a name, but I doubt there's a buyer in its future.
The buyer would aim for MarijuanaDelivery.com or Marijuana247.com perhaps. And if, for some reason, they couldn't purchase those, then the buyer would look for something available for $10 and shorter than your domain.
I can imagine someone using MarijuanaDelivery247.com for their business -- but only if they paid $10 for it themselves.
We've all seen worse domains and probably owned worse domains; but this one is not a good investment bet, in my opinion.
thanks for the responses all. I am pretty confident there will be about 100 different marijuana delivery companies in a few years from now; I don't need to, nor can I, compete against marijuana247 or marijuanadelivery, but I think I can prob get highxxx from someone looking to start their own mj delivery company.
