This is a no-nonsense site. The Las Vegas of online poker in the States.

Andrew has a great name, Don.

His sig is nothing more than a tool to help him get some business and visibility, just like many others. So long as its a benefit to other members.

This is not a church, for christ sake.

I have my script very similar to expirefish.com from back end functionality point o view (I guess). I am enom reseller like registerfly.com for more than a year now and my script runs through API. Now I am programming front end for my new site which will be at forgottendomains.com in 2-3 month. If you need more info PM me.

I think those appraisals are a little optimistic (what would the appraisers pay for the name themselves i wonder?). But blackjack.info was bid to $7k recently in the directi auction so you should get a five figure amount for the domain.

What amazes me though is the very low level of interest in .us during the launch. Most of the top domains were still available after the sunrise and yet very few of the big domain speculators made an effort to get them.
It sucks to think how much money I'd have made out of the .us launch if only I was american but LOL never mind.

amr had one of the best performances from the .us launch, mainly on account of having his names at the front of the enom queue, which is one of the five registrars that dominated the launch.

games.us
lawyer.us
marketing.us
ticket.us
creditcard.us
casinos.us

I have 494 .us domain names of high value but I will probably keep them for 3-5 years before sale. I hope that during that time price of .us will be around .com.

Those are all killer domains AMR. Congrats!! You will collect the some heavy $$$ in the future. Great investment. By the way, how did Enom's preregistration procedure work for the .us? First come first served or? If so, how much was the application fee?

Thanks!

Lol you've been a lucky man now don't get greedy..
.com has such a dominant market position and couldn't be challenged by a country code, all big companies already have their site with a .com.
I forgot that enom did an auction for .us like the other extensions. Usually they do poorly because of their long queue but with .us they could put the high bids first. And by chance they did extremely well while most other registrars, dotster, signaturedomains etc. got nothing at all.
