The amount of inconvenience was not worth it. Per Groupon, the worth of a coupon is not lost, but the in store credit isn't good anymore.

I didn't participate in this, but from my understanding of what you posted-- you had to use the whole Groupon in 1 shopping cart or it was invalid (one visit)?
