Everytime I try to sign up for my "FREE" account at Pool, I get an error message that my credit card was not accepted, (a perfectly good VISA gold card, $10,000 limit, accepted everywhere else)!

So my question is...
... is there anywhere where I can:

a) produce a list of domains that have dropped in the last few days?
b) perform a bulk link popularity check over that list?
c) preferably for free! ;-)

Thanks for reading.

Sure there is. Do a zone file comparison every day, remove the drops, and chuck them into a URL substitution script for linkpop -- there are plenty of those sites which will take a formed URL.

I had the same problem with my credit cards being declined at Pool. Turns out it was the credit card companies declining the charges . I called the credit card company and they explained that they declined the transaction for security issues. After I said it was indeed an authorized charge I had no further problems.

Okay, this sounds good, but you've baffled me with science...
What is a "zone file comparison", and where do I find a URL substitution script? Please elaborate...
Thanks,

Neil

Enom ClubDrop is great for "good" domains, but it hasn't snagged a "great" domain for me yet.
