Popular Domain Expring soon

Hey guys i found this very popular domain expring in a coupe of days its got good uniques and is listed in alexa in top ***

Now i dont thnk the owner is goin to renew it .

wat steps should i take to buy the domain as soon as it expires i mean how lng does it take for a another person to buy a domain after it is expring like today?

it will go into the redemption period after it expires, 30 to 45 days, the owner will still have the option of renewing it during that period, if not then it will drop , you might want to backorder it somewhere like pool.com or snapnames, if it is that good a name it will go to auction probably , and bring strong money.

Your best bet would be to contact the owner once it goes into redemption and offer to purchase the name prior to its dropping...chances are if it goes to auction, the big money dudes will get it.

make sure the domain is not redirect to another domain and website is still up.

trust me.. you won't get it.

if a site is in top XXX in Alexa.. someone is paying for a decent monthly server bill.. someone probably needs to maintain it in order to get top XXX.
A site doesn't stay in the top XXX without any maintence.

It will get renew.. even if it does not get renew.. it will definitely go to an auction.
