I'm curious to know about domains people register that are whole phrases.

E.g. JesusLovesYou.com or TheSkyIsTheLimit.com

Please post domains you own, not those of others.

Very fine specimens!

Today I found myself driving behind two cars that each had a rather small-sized bumper sticker. I was able to memorize them because the phrases were meaningful, despite the fact that they were 4 and 6 words long.

I think there is a market in such unusually long but easy to memorize domains.

For the record, these domains were GolfLikeAHero.com and IsThereABookInsideYou.com

(don't laugh)

I have always thought that slogan domains like this would be great for marketing other domains if nothing else. Like my exposeyourselfoften.com points to rex.com. I have over the years printed a few T-shirts and given them away just for that idea. ultimately if you decide to point the slogan domain somewhere else, you have lost nothing....

NFLFreeAgent.com

Gets great traffic/PPC/CTR this time of year.

PinewoodDerbyDesign.com

Another that is cyclic depending on time of year.
Also very good traffic/PPC/CTR

Yeah. Although I would like to separate multi-word compounds e.g. "NFL Free Agent" from phrases, if possible.

Slogans, as havlock put it, have potential simply because people remember the entire phrase (as long as it's well chosen).

Biggedon brought this up about a week or so ago. Commonly referred to Longtailing Domains.

I have been doing this for years.

If you can get the right combination of words that are in themselves keywords than traffic, PPC, and CTR are great!

The two examples that I gave are very cyclic or seasonal.

I have tons of these type of domains but that is all I could think of off the top of my head (actually had another window open with my sedo stats and these were there).

I think a key to these type of domains is pop-culture and catchy, for example, visit wheredoyouwanttogotoday.com

Very generic ones that can be pointed to almost any domain I think would be great, again, something that you could print on a T-Shirt that would work forever, no matter where the destination goes or changes to

Long-assed, whatever :D I think some can be fascinating.
I don't want to post some of mine here for fear that it might be considered advertising.
My intention is to see what others think about it.

One I found the other day was AutoInjuryHelp.com. It appears in WayBack as being a site in 2003.

If memory serves me right it was originally regged in 1998 or 1999.

Love those aged and used drops.

Longtail names can do well if they are memorable

Very good. I think that all these have one requirement only: they should be .com so that they become "sticky" in our minds.

I think some can be fascinating.
To me the key is to think about popular searches that someone including yourself would enter as a search term in a search bar.

(none of these are mine)

getoutofdebtfast
howtobakeaturkey
obamasstimuluspackage
costoffilingbankruptcy

These are a few I just made up and they are all registered.

Just out of curiosity, I also checked this:

HOW TO DECORATE EASTER EGGS

It was available.

So, I'll reg it and park it and we'll see how it does over the next few days at sedo. I have 96 hours to throw it back.

So here goes!

if you felt it would be advertising for you, then why coerce others to post their domains?

was your intent to provide a forum for others to advertise or post names their domains outside of the proper sub-forums?

Don, I think you need to go raise tempers elsewhere, we are having a great discussion here :) Thanks!

But since you are stipulating that my motives were ulterior, here's a couple of mine:

ThisDomainIsStolen.com
IDontHaveMySpace.com
