SAN DIEGO, Calif. (April 27, 2007) â VirginiaTechMassacre.com, a large and important ProjectCare.com website, will continue its efforts to assist those affected by the horrible tragedy of April 16th on an ongoing basis.
Kevin Caruso, the founder and director of ProjectCare.com, is serving as the director and editor-in-chief of the site.
âWe will do everything that we can to help those who are hurting because of the tragedy,â said Caruso. âWe will be here forever for them â today, 5 years from now, and 50 years from now.â
Caruso, who also runs Suicide.org, is very concerned about those who are or may become suicidal because of the tragedy. âWhenever a tragedy of this magnitude occurs, we need to implement as many suicide prevention strategies as possible,â he said. âSo we will be working diligently online and offline to ensure that everyone who is suicidal receives the help that they need.â
VirginiaTechMassacre.com will also serve as a large memorial for the 32 victims. âWe will always honor the 32 angels we lost on the horrible day â they are 32 of the most amazing people this world has ever known,â said Caruso.
Lastly, the site will serve to educate the public about the tragedy â numerous articles and pictures are already on the site.
VirginiaTechMassacre.com was launched shortly after the tragedy and is a permanent ProjectCare.com website.
