Yeah so just now I was pretty much scammed through eBay.

Sold a cell phone in December, delivered in December to the buyer. Now today, in March, receive a chargeback against me saying that the phone doesn't work...IN MARCH.

Talked to PayPal, they're not sure if they can win it. Chargebacks usually don't result in anything good...so this is great. I didn't know it was possible to be scammed through eBay but I guess it is. There goes about $120 which I don't have...yeah PayPal pulled it out of my bank without permission when the chargeback occured. They better win it for me, but I doubt it...like what the hell...

They got the phone in DECEMBER...I can't believe their CC company allowed them to make a dispute so late.

Like usual with eBay.

Check another DNF thread where people yesterday talk about Sedo vs Ebay :D

In this specific case the problem is not Ebay the problem is PayPal.

I dont think they can be successful if they say it does not work, they got it that is the main thing.

Always consider the fact that it MIGHT have actually broken...

Try to provide shipping info
I did and it shows it was delivered in December, three months ago. So do the messages from the buyer.

If it broke within three months, that ain't my fault. They could've bought insurance through the cell phone company. I sold it as-is, which was then in working condition.

thats not on, and its not right for paypal to take money from your account, its bordering on criminal.

i would be extremely angry, and would want to beat the shit up who is saying the phone is broken.

in 3 months the person could have done anything with the phone, id send the person a paypal invoice in return then raise a dispute against them for it being unpaid.

Too many ass holes in this world.
