Preview.com sold for $18,500 at Afternic.com

Just saw that this is listed as sold on Afternic.com. Not a bad price but it still seems a bit soft to me................................

Wonder why they didn't hold out a little longer for a higher bid given that the $18,500 was the first and only bid placed...it's likely others would have come out to bid once they saw the bid, given a little more time - waiting even a few extra days could have made the difference.

Perhaps the seller needs cash right now and/or had been dealing with the buyer for awhile on the sale.

With all that said, he got a decent, fair price for it nevertheless

What so great about "preview"? Every marketer is giving previews nowadays. Bad business model, imho.

This incredible fixation about the worth of "generic dictionary words" may extend to a couple of hundred terms, but "preview" isn't one of them..

I would value the plural previews.com more then preview.com People use previews more especially when relating to movies which I'm sure this is what the owner will promote with the site.
