after a bit of research on US farmers/dealers of
Wagyu beef (kobe etc).

and emailing a handful of the more promising ones. (last week)
that may be interested in buying

Wagyu.us

one has replied so far. :(

asking

"How much does this URL cost?"

should i dive straight in with my current needs or should i wait a while as it will be a "premium" beef name when DOT.US take off.

thanks in advance wilco

OT slightly

i had some of the kobe beef at a city restaurant on saturday night. WOW , some of the best beef i have eaten for a long time and i used to be in the trade.

£20 , and it was not a big steak just deleicate strips.. but i would recomend it!

Kobe is some good beef, I once sold a domain name for $250 and $250 in Kobe beef to one of the guys in the US that raised them.

wilco, it was a .com. I asked my wife the other day what the domain was that I traded and neither one of us could remember. The guy just called me up one day and read this speach about how good the beef was and how he would like to trade some for a domain I owned. It was wierd but I traded. :D

Well, that's another story. I left it in my freezer too long and it went bad. lol, yeah yeah I know, I lost $250 in steak but I still had the $250 in cash that went with it. :D

And yeah, I think this should be the barter system too. I would love to trade domains for other stuff.

They ship it in dry ice so it can stay good for a few days in the shipping box. They can ship almost anything these days.

Kobe beef is very expensive, $250 was like 6 steaks and they weren't that big. I didn't have a grill at the time and grilling to me is the only way to eat a good steak. Now I have a grill and no Kobe. :(
