Thank you for all the direction, feedback, links to articles and terrific information that exists here because for YOU.
I wanted to relay this private $ info because I think that's what a lot of people really want to know.
I've purchased approx. 1,500 names over the past two months for around $10,000. I actually had (and have) have no idea what I'm doing but I started slow, researched & tested, then, I got lucky & found a particular type of name that made me money every day. I could smell the money. I then spent 8 hours a day for about a week and actually was able to uncover 3,000 of these general types of names that were available. Not really sure, I ended up buying 1,500 right away. Had to borrow this money, but hey, what's not a gamble? I'm keeping my day job.
Low and behold, my names are making me a steady $50 a day. The investment has returned over $1,200 last month and $1,400 this month. This works out to $15,000+ for the year - a super nice profit. OK, perhaps I got very lucky but if you just read all the great stuff out there, research, do your homework and test, the money can be made (and it's soo easy once it starts). :)
Someday, maybe I'll actually learn what I'm doing.

Thank you.
I'll be buying the rest of my list from the generated revenue and from wherever I can borrow more money.
We are onto something here.
Smell the money. :)

just one note. You are not buying the names, you are registering the names for the reg fee. This is very important to note, since what you are actually doing according to the most people not suppose to bring a lot of revenue. In any case you did a very good job, don;t forget to allocate funds to renew domains though. The problem with your sctructure is that you are owing way to many names. That is a good thing since the investment diversified but on the other hand you need almost 11k every year to renew it, so be very careful, you may be losing even money at the end. Thanks for sharing the story!

Thank you for your valued advice. Here my plan (from someone who fell from a tree but landed on his feet): To reinvest 100% to keep it growing. I know some will say Nooo (I can hear it) but I'm full steam ahead. I Smell The Money.
Then I'll just do what most domainers do (I think): After a year, when my 1,500 names reg. fees come due, I'll only renew "the over" $6.50 per name. Real easy. I'll end up dropping the vast majority and only keep the "earners." I plan on doing all the renewal reg fees out of my monthly cash flow.
I'll touch base with my $ update in a few month's upon my 3,000 name reg fee purchase (I learn fast). Again, thank you for your feedback.

yes, in your case you will have to start droping the names that don't make money. Even better, try to sell them here for 20-10$ each few months before they expire. Some people may like them and buy for development purposes

If what your doing is registering domains, not catching drops. I suggest you give "domain tasting" a try, this way you wont be stuck with domains that earn nothing....Good job but watch the money.

Thank you. I read & take in everything that's said here because I know I just got lucky.
FYI - I have about all my names with Fabulous because the money is rolling in there. I've tried Parked, Doman Sponser and Enom for just a few of the names (and only for less than 60 days total) but it is clear to me for my particular genre of names, Fabulous is the one.
They do not have "tasting" as far as I know. I made the newbie mistake of registering microssoftcorp.com two weeks ago ( I posted here and learned very quickly to dump it ASAP), then the very next day I tried to un-register and they said OK but it would take 30 days. What a hassle.
And by the way, I'm new but I know for a fact your "...girl.com" names are sure winners. And trust me, there are plunty more "girls" available to the right thinkers.
Thank you again.

Dynadot and Godaddy offer domain tasting where you get a full refund, Dynadot being the better of the two. I would give them one of them a try, I really think you benefit the most from it.......Also, thanks for the compliment!

You can test at Moniker.com as well for up to 96 hours and if you decide to drop, they charge a fee of $0.25 cents for each domain you drop.

Dynadot and GoDaddy charge $0, not even the ICANN fee.
Dynadot doesn't ask a question while you have to send GoDaddy an email to request for a refund. It takes about a week to refund for a hundred or more names at GoDaddy, but less than 10 it should only take a day or 2.
I haven't tried Dynadot, but it sounds sweet despite the store credit instead of cash refund. You have to keep on track with every refund request with GoDaddy. Sometimes Bob forgets.

Thank you for the continuing insight.
For the reply that wanted to know how I find these profitable names to reg, read over this article below from another thread. This lets the cat out of the bag. And I told you about "...girls.com." My expierence, however limited, has shown about any city or country is a winner. Even .net will work with these. You gotta work, but the names/ideas are there.

What is the process of dropping names at dynadot? Is it a automated web process like moniker's, or do you need to call their customer service?

You just click which domains you want to delete and it takes a few hours.

I love Frank Schilling's blog. I think the name/ideas he convey in that article is different
than yours. He was focusing on name that generate little traffic/revenue today, but could be huge for the right buyers in the future.
I am assuming that most of your names have traffic/parking revenue.
