I have problem customizing the website 2.0 template. I don't see the keywords or site menu I entered.

Anyone knows what is the correct way to enter the Keywords and Site Menu?

How will they appear?

Dear Wolfis,

Thank you for your post. We have been notified by our upstream provider that the nightly domain level reports we received from it were not accurate and included errors since and including May 1, 2007. This issue affected all of our upstream provider’s publishers and was not particular to TrafficZ. As a result, we were forced to roll back all of the revenue data since May 1st to the original estimates. We were informed that we will receive this data most likely on Tuesday, May 8, 2007.

If you have any questions regarding this issue, please do not hesitate to contact us at [email protected].

Best regards,
Lizzy Quiroga

It is May 9th, but no stats finalization since May 1st.
May be Trafficz having problem with Overture ?
All other PPCs with overture bids have no problem with stats these days.

I am getting concerned & will start moving slowly from today.

Any suggestion ?

I would suggest that you hang in there. Trafficz are one of the few programs to be immune to the problems suffered by other programs.

I have 100% faith in the team over at trafficz, and I believe that if they could do something about this quicker they would. I myself check my trafficz stats around 200 times a day. While it is a minor annoyance seeing all the 10s of dollars I earn not update. ;-) I am happy with the thought that (hopefully) the stats will only get better.

I am sure the people at trafficz are fully aware of the negative impact this is taking on them and they are doing everything in their power to rectify this. Jumping ship now will only make your overall stats and revenue worse.

Give them a chance to get it fixed.

I don't understand, why at trafficz I do not have any control over the keywords I select in the menu/keyword box. The system reads the domain name and places relevant keywords based on the domain and there is nothing I can do to change that.... for example, I have a typo of nabolister.com(free movies site), the typo is napolister.com . Although I have movie related keywords set, the system reads Napoli as the keyword and places travel related content in the landing page.

After contacting support, I was told that the upstream provider does not allow them to modify the keywords...

here is a part of the response I got:
Thank you for your email. Unfortunately our agreement with our upstream provider does not allow us to change the advertisements that appear on individual domains...........
.............
our system works off of reading the domain name and providing results that are specific to that domain name. This allows our CPC rate to remain as one of the highest in the industry.

But how can I earn the revenue I should be earning if I send traffic to totally irrelevant landing pages (in terms of what the visitors are looking for)

You can set the search keywords in the menu, so were someone to see the "Typo" they would naturally click on that name.

Keywords on all Yahoo feeds can not be set. Only the Menu/Related keywords can be set.

This does work well overall as most sites are 2 Click Landers.

I assume Menu Keywords are shown different by countries, so it might looks different to you. The keywords you choose might be shown in US. But I am also wondering of this problem, cause I am in South Korea.
Is it correct? Anyone tell us, please.

Audited stats is being updated.

Yes.. This is very true. Take parked for example. I can have the worlds greatest keyword domain yet I would get generic results when looking at it from the UK.

Flipside, Even though its very Ameri-centric both companies KICK ass over the google feeds and its nothing to do with the percentage share Parked and Trafficz offer.

Its all about the metrics and the bottom line.

If you are looking to see what your domains look like from within the us, I would suggest you use an American Proxy like that of MegaProxy.com

Thanks for the suggestion, I did that and the landing pages look the same as they look from my real IP. I don't think it is a geo targeting issue. The trafficz representative was very clear in his response. The ads on the landing pages cannot be edited and there's nothing they can do about it... for now at least

Dear valued TrafficZ clients:

As many of you have already noticed, we are currently updating our system to present verified data for all past days since and including May 1st. We began this process immediately after receiving notice from our upstream provider that the data was available. We are processing data from the earliest date first and hope to have all verified data processed by tomorrow morning. Unfortunately, this problem arose as a result of issues completely beyond our control, but rest assured that we have done and will continue to do all that we can to address and prevent such issues in the future. As always, we thank you for your patience and understanding throughout this process.

To answer some previous posts on this thread… We DO allow our clients to influence and/or control the search suggestions presented on TrafficZ landing pages. In addition to using the Keywords field to populate each domain’s meta-keywords, the first inputted keyword is also used to provide relevant search suggestions on the initial landing page of a domain. Once an end user performs a search, the term which is searched upon will then determine the search suggestions on the results page. If a client would like to exercise greater control over his\her domains, they may further specify Menu terms. Each menu term specified will replace a search suggestion provided by the TrafficZ system. Similarly, TrafficZ clients can also use the Excluded Words box to specify specific terms that should NOT appear as search suggestions and/or related searches for any particular domain. Presently, keywords and menu terms are only used in English-speaking territories.

Although our clients DO have the ability to influence and/or control the search suggestions presented on their TrafficZ domains, clients DO NOT have the ability to control the advertisers or listings that are presented on their TrafficZ domains. The advertisements appear courtesy of TrafficZ’s search partners and we have no control over our search partners’ advertisers or the search results that they return for any particular search term. That being said, we CAN force a two-click lander for any domain that would otherwise qualify for a direct-to-results (one-click) lander, and we are happy to do this for any domain upon written request from our client.

If you have any further questions regarding the estimated data or keywords/menu terms or would like a screenshot of your domain in an English-speaking territory, please do not hesitate to contact us at [email protected].

Best regards,
the TrafficZ team
