I needed to add some funds to my Moniker account so I could renew some domains.
I selected the $50 package and chose to pay it with my credit card (as I've done many times before). It usually takes a few seconds. This time, the little progress wheel spun for several long minutes, then the page hung. I re-logged in and saw that my balance hadn't increased, so I tried funding it with the credit card again. I got a message saying the card was invalid.
So I decided to use PayPal instead. After the PayPal process, my balance still hadn't increased. So I tried to renew just those domains using PayPal ... and it worked.
The kicker? Turns out that the requests to fund my account were processed - once with PayPal, twice(!) with my credit card. So I suddenly have $150 in my account, which I don't need.
Man. I've spent tens of thousands of dollars at Moniker over the years, but I'm ready to join the others who are jumping off this sinking ship.
