Surely some tv show 'expert' would love this name

"If you would like to ask the professor a question send an email to [email protected]" :D

I couldnt name a show in particular but judging by the daytime shows that get sent from the US to the UK (i think we get sent only the REALLY bad ones) but i am sure you have hundreds like these to pick and choose from.

I would not sell this domain name.

I would sell or rent all of the "your name.professor.net" subdomains and retain the root.

Value=unlimited
Resale=25k and up

Q

I think he is correct Bob - but since I like you a lot, I will bail you out by giving you the full $250 from the top end of the range right now :D

Hi all..

First of all, I wouldnt agree that this domain isnt worth a lot, since there are many software companies developing new learn@home programs every day, and professor.net would suit their needs the best. Maybe even some tudoring over net or what ever!

Antoher thing would be, that you could sell *@professor.net mail accounts to professors all over the states. Just think how many schools are all over the States, and how many professors are there. You could charge each professor just 1$/month, and you could make a fortune. Much more than $200-$500 as guys here were indicating ;) STICK TO IT, DONT SELL IT. ITS WORTH MUCH MORE THAN FEW THOUSAND BUCKS - MI OPPINION.

If you use this advice, I expect a commision every month :] j/k though i wouldnt mind some additional income hehe ;)

Nice .net! Is it yours Bob? It will easily fetch over $1k. Excellent name for any type of tutorial or resource site.

I think it's an excellent name, Bob. .net is underrated, particularly as we all refer to the internet as 'the net'. Nobody refers to anything as 'the com'!

It would make a great "Ask Jeeves"-style search engine. Ask Professor Net :)

$2500 and up to the right buyer.

I'll give you $700 cash right now though hehe ;)

I'm not sure what the value of professor.net is, but as a vanity email for professors it is absolutely worthless.

Which of the following would you rather have...

[email protected]
OR
[email protected]

;)
