I personally disagree with requiring the domain in the title for website sales. Why exactly is this a requirement? I can think of a lot reasons why someone would not want to include this in the title like not wanting your website users to know the site is for sale and having the thread come up in the SERP's

Thanks

Oh please. It is very easy to mask a domain name from being spidered in search engines to avoid the sale/domain being found;

IE- (for example, and this is just one example out of many)-

Ok, lil experiment done here. First thread I noticed where someone tried to mask their domain.

This is the masked thread: http://www.dnforum.com/f4/freeappdownload-s-com-thoughts-input-thread-336718.html

This is what comes up when I search for the domain straight up as a normal person would search for it in google: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...ial&hs=Tiq&q=FreeAppDownloads.Com&btnG=Search

Here's another: http://www.dnforum.com/f283/consumable-net-thread-333846.html

google: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...:official&hs=n5V&q=Consumable.net&btnG=Search

Yeah DD but in both of those masked threads they re-wrote the name again, the correct way, in the body of the post. Thats probably why they showed up in google.

Let's also not forget that it's quite easy (and quick) to simply edit all of the seller's posts when the sale is made, so there is no data.

But it really doesn't need to get that far if you simply mask the name.

Another avenue is to just ask a moderator to delete the thread, and/or delete where a member typed out the domain name in the thread.

It's very simple. All it takes is a little common sense.
