Guys,

In regards to my last mishap. I would like to publicly apologize.
I have had the night to gather my thoughts, and as mentioned public opinion cannot be so drastically wrong.

I feel the domain game, and business is a very exciting and interesting one, BUT I feel if I am being realistic and honest, given my current state of maturity, and tactlessness when posting, I am unsuitable at the moment.

On that basis I am myself withdrawing my self from the business. I will sell off the majority of my domains, and may occasionally lurch here.

Just so I can leave with a clear conscience (in the sense that I have told all, and not withheld information)... I was banned around 15 times at Namepros because when I was extremely immature i created 15 multiple accounts, after getting my original banned. It is not a case of me being such an awful member that I got banned on 15 occasions.
Also since my ban there (which was for not paying, after agreeing to a price), I felt I had matured significantly. In reality I had, but not sufficiently.

Those who I have dealt with in the past year I hope will agree that I am a good, and honest trader. I have completed various $x,xxx transactions with many members here without a problem (see TR).
I think the main factor here is my inability to reason properly, and my lack of consideration for others.

On the basis of the above, I hope you can wish me goodbye with my history off my shoulders as such. I have made many mistakes, I am not hiding that BUT I would hope if I return when I am older, and more mature that you would allow me to start off with a clean slate...

Many Thanks, and sorry once again.
Best of Luck
Tom C

The first thing you could do is request to have domain newbie's negative feedback removed.

I have contacted Johnn and MediaHound requesting this feedback be removed.

Good luck with your future endeavors!

Many Thanks. Best of luck to you, as well as all the members here.

I have also sent dn a PM personally apologizing.

Good luck Tom, I know we haven't seen eye to eye on everything but I hope to see you back here in the future.

Thanks VT. I really appreciate it. You have helped me in many ways. Best of luck yourself.

Also I have recieved a couple of PMs regarding buying my portfolio.
I am currently in talks with a couple of large domain accquisition companies such as BuyDomains, and a few individuals regarding buying the lot.

Thanks again, and best of luck all.

Giving up on domaining over some forum banter seems kinda harsh dude. If you enjoy domaining, make a few changes, and move forward with it.

There is nothing that hurts more than public humiliation. I am sure you learned a lesson or two. My suggestion is to take a break and come back with a new perspective. Best of luck.

Seraphim has a point. Who was it that said "Become a millionaire, not for the money, but for what it will make of you."?

Replace millionaire with domainer :)

Chill out dude. Just a little forum fight. Whats the big deal. You don't have to quit something you like because of it.

I will miss your posts. :{

Aww... Thanks :eek:k:

Giving up on domaining over some forum banter seems kinda harsh dude. If you enjoy domaining, make a few changes, and move forward with it.

I don't enjoy domaining, I love domaining. What is more it isn't banter in the sense those who dislike me are very serious about their stance, and perhaps rightly so. I have tried changing numerous times, but whatever it is someone will just say "Look at what he did at NP 3 years ago!!", "Look what he did to person x, x months ago".

There is nothing that hurts more than public humiliation. I am sure you learned a lesson or two. My suggestion is to take a break and come back with a new perspective. Best of luck.

I agree. What is more, I feel a tad out of my depth when 20 different people gang up like blood hound and attack me. Ive got to sort out my attitude if I induce actions like what I have seen...

I feel ya, and I most likely will keep a few of my better domains. I simply wont actively pursure purchasing more, or selling those which I keep. The millionaire potential is still there.
If my enjoyment distresses so many people, then I'd rather lose my own enjoyment than negatively effect so many others...

Chill out dude. Just a little forum fight. Whats the big deal. You don't have to quit something you like because of it.

I seem to have these little forum fights every few months, and whatever/whereever i post someone brings it up...

Thanks for the comments guys/girls.. Appreciated.

Tom .. you love this 'sh!t' .. don't let a little spat like this throw you for a loop .. 'easy goes the tiger' .. You know we are all 'fcked' up in one way or another (or we wouldn't be in this business .. right .. :)) ... learn and move on .. don't take it personally .. brush it off and take the lessons learned from it on board .. don't give up and take heart from the posts above
