Puerto Escondido is a port and tourist center in the municipality of San Pedro Mixtepec Distrito 22 in the Mexican state of Oaxaca. It had a population of 20,178 as of the 2005 census.The town was established more than a century ago as a fishing village with a small port for shipping coffee.The area has been inhabited by indigenous populations for centuries. It later became a popular destination after Federal Highway 200 was built along the country's Pacific Ocean coast during the 1960s. The primary attractions are the beautiful beaches and championship surfing. It attracts thousands of surfing enthusiasts annually. Puerto Escondido is also an extremely popular destination for backpackers from all over the world and used to be a quite famous hippie getaway.

St Andrews is a former royal burgh on the east coast of Fife in Scotland, named after Saint Andrew the Apostle. The town is home to the University of St Andrews, the third oldest university in the English-speaking world, the oldest in Scotland and one of Britain's most prestigious. The University is an integral part of the burgh, and during term time students make up approximately one third of the town's population. St Andrews has a population of 16,680, making this the fifth largest settlement in Fife.
