I get the following error when I try to push a name to another reseller account:

"Domain push was not successful
A domain name can only be pushed once every 7 days."

Does everyone have this restriction? Why would they implement such a rule?

Actually the rule changed several months ago but you can still push the domain.

the problem is the restriction applies to any name.

Lets say you have 100 names regged there for 6 months,
from what I can tell, you can push 1 per seven days, which is terrible for business and resellers like us.

Not true. I pushed 80 domains two weeks ago at one time with list wizard. The rule is that the same domain can only be pushed once in a 7 day period and twice if you are an ETP.

let me rephrase.

from my understandning, you can do a push once a week.
now, if that push has 5000 domains in it, fine.
But can you do 2 diferent pushes, 1 each day for 2 days?

If you can, then I am wrong and I must have hit a glitch when it happened to me.

Yes, I individually pushed 10 different domains yesterday to sub-accounts and 2 this morning.

I think the 7 day rule doesn't apply to sub accounts.

I've heard about this but never encountered it. I've heard you can get around it by using the "Push a list" feature, which I've always used anyway (even for one domain), so maybe that has something to do with it.

Okay .. the restriction applies when you are pushing a domain between two different accounts. There is no restriction if you are pushing domains between your sub-accounts. To bypass the 7 day rule, just use the list wizard. There is no such restriction if you are using the list wizard. You can push as many domains as many times as you like.

Hope that helps.
