Hi, guys! Today I found PWA apps, they can turn any site into a web application. That is, the user can add this site to the desktop of his smartphone and use it as an application. Has anyone used it?

Hi, I know this post is a bit old now but sure I know PWA.

They're not quite a replacement for native apps but one day maybe.

*edit* I should add that it's a standards based approach whereas something like React Native tries to do a lot more but is proprietary (although open source).

If you set up Xenforo (this forums software) properly it converts to an app nicely.

Ht the download icon in the urlbar (menu on android) and it installs instantly.

I use a chromebook and it works for dnforum
