Recently it as up for auction, it reached $10,000+ but the reserve was never met.

Does it get that many type-ins?

Or is it just for prestige?

Maybe, its just me, but I think that all of the good type-ins are long gone, unless you have deep pockets. So, that leaves branding.
With top sites named:
Orbitz
Daum
eBay
eNom
Yahoo
and other weird names,the important thing is to find a need and fill it.
