If I bid a high amount before the auction starts, does the auction start at the highest bid (my max bid, or my 'opponents') or does it start at $28, then proxy bidded up to the last price? Sorry if this may seem confusing, but I was just confused by the explanation of the "Absolute Bid" on bido.com

Thank you in advanced,
-Mike c.

ezhilraja is correct, Pre-Bids are placed as absolute bids. This means they are placed at the full amount and do not follow scales. Pre-Bids of $100 or more are also entitled to a 2% Cashback Bonus should the very Pre-Bid win the auction. Once an auction starts, bidding then follows Scales and proxy bids (max bids) may be placed.
