I hope to be selling my site soon for approx. $9000 besides using "of-course" escrow.com
What is the best way for me to handle this payment?
Not paypal?
I have heard Western Union would be decent but I'm not sure.

So yes, escrow will be used if the buyer would like but whats the best way for payment?

Hope this is the right thread!

For a $9000 sale I would use Escrow because I want not just if the buyer wants.

Definite. But OK.. So Escrow handles the entire payment? Is that correct?

Sale is initiated > payment is lodged > domain is accepted > payment is made.
Easy to use control panel and regular notification of process.
Normal for buyer to pay Escrow charges.

OK..
Cool.
Sounds Like A Plan.
Now I must find a buyer!

Escrow looks complicated for domains and websites!
Especially a .ca
Yikes

Don't be put off by:-
The Seller Sends the Paperwork to The Registrar
The Seller has to complete a form to transfer any domain names to another party. For most registrars (example: Network Solutions or Register.com), this form has to be notarized and dated. Please contact your registrar for specific procedures.

In most instances that isn't necessary as a straight "push" or transfer of a domain is possible.

it is very tough to sell .ca names for large sums, but I wish you luck!

escrow.com is by far the best service to use on any transaction over $1000

Well.. It shouldnt be that hard..

I think it can be done fairly easily.
We'll see.. As I said, first things first need a buyer!

Thanks
