On a generic term, what value would you give a .us domain verses the .com domain.

For instance Toys.com sold for $5million
Candy sold for $3 million.

What would you estimate toys.us and candy.us be priced at?
1-5% of the value of the .com? or is that too much?

I think Luc has it right on the average, maybe a little high (and he said .5% - 1/2%). But - it will heavily depend on the keywords, some will be worth (a lot) more than others.

Yes i agree with the above posters.. But for that 0,5% you will have to find an enduser because between domainers .us prices are very low.. That is why i am currently stocking up heavily on them :)

i would say more like 0.1% but they are well undervalued, would be worth more if they opened them up like .uk......... imo

Yes the nexus is killing this extension.. Also Neustar is not helping much with promotions.. But you can still make a nice ROI from the current drops..
