What do people think of rabbithole.com?

This one isn't mine. I made a significant offer to the owner after the domain had expired, and I never got a response back (though he did renew). I think I may have offered too much money, however. What is your appraisal?

if you offered $100, and have plans for it.....you are ok.

If you offered more than 100, and have no plans for it...yes, you offered to much.

Anyone else? :) I find Doberry's appraisal to be quite low. Rabbithole is not a fabricated name like BillboardBunny, it is a real word that evokes images hearkening back to Alice in Wonderland.
"Through the rabbithole"... is an expression that is well known in popular culture. Would it not make a great, playful business name?

You asked if you offered to much....and I was wondering if you meant for a project, or for spec (to resell)

In order to resell, you want to make a good profit...

don't pay more than $100.00 unless you are developing...and are set on the name....

Rabbithole doesn't evoke images of anything but ermm...rabbit holes. I don't see how this could be used.

I agree....

PigeonHole would have more value, since it is a saying... to be "pigeon holed".

But morel must have a use for this name...rabbit hole...

I wouldnt buy it as spec though, really no resale value. I think he wants to develop it...

I think you mean "through the looking glass".

It seems that people here need to be more creative!

You don't have to use overture counts and potential affiliate programs as a crutch. I'm not trying to sell rabbitholes here :).

The value of rabbithole, it seems to me, either for resale or development, is that it provides a business name that can stand out in the forest of bland business names. Did no one see the Disney film "Alice in Wonderland"? Did no one see the popular film "The Matrix", in which Morpheus says "you thake the red pill, you stay in wonderland, and I show you how deep this rabbithole goes"?
rabbithole ==> mystery wonderland

P.S
I meant to say "down the rabbithole"

I like to think I can be creative at times :D but this name stirs nothing, maybe a game, like catch the rabbit before he reaches his hole.

I think Elmer Fud had some problems at doing this so did the Martien, I forget his name, Bugs was just too smart for them :).

Creativity is domain suicide... but good luck!

I think "Follow the White Rabbit" has more meaning to most than "Rabbit Hole."

Its not a bad name. I'm not sure what you could do with it though. Maybe a place to sell children books or something?. Seems like a "book" name for some reason. I kinda like the sound of "TheRabbitHole" better ...but its already taken. Maybe the guy that owns that name will buy it from you?
