Just saw today on Twitter that Randy 'Macho Man' Savage died in a car accident after suffering a heart attack. It happened on a Florida highway.

Anyone who follows the WWF/WWE will remember Macho Man as one of the premier wrestlers in the WWF heyday 1980's. He was a great wrestler, flashy and could talk up a storm.

RIP to Macho!

Is this the guy I use to like watching when I was a kid? He was always with his girl Eizabeth. Who's going to take care of her now?

It seems like yesterday. Elizabeth, especially, was this beautiful looking girl. I use to have a crush on her, back then, lol.
Though, it haven't kept up with wrestling (no longer a kid lol), I'm sure he's in many people's memory.

I hope Randy rest in peace.

I still remember when my Mom told me that WWF wrestling was fake. A truly traumatizing experience. :disappointed:

I agree, I refused to believe it was fake for quite a few years after I was told.

I was a big wrestling fan as a kid, but I realized pretty early that it was fake. What tipped me off? The fact that Andre the Giant ever lost!

Shame about Macho Man. Maybe I'll go snap into a Slim Jim in his honor.

I saw both Andre the Giant and Randy Savage wrestle in the old Montreal Forum back in the 80's, though not against each other.

Savage had the best flying elbow off the top rope, you don't really see anyone do that anymore.

There was a good biography of Andre the Giant published a couple years ago, well written and lots of good behind the scenes wrestling stories about him. Lots of wrestlers were really scared to face him, even Hogan, because Andre could just do whatever he wanted if he didn't like you.
