Interesting to find this piece from WIRED magazine.

Reclaim Your Site From Domain Squatters
What is Domain Squatting

I think this is wrong. It should be, "the art of registering..." :D

Sorry, 'www.dnforum.vom' does not exist or is not available!

Damn Verizon scumbags!

Imagine how much traffic per year Google siphons from Frank Schilling. I recall him talking about it on his blog, but don't remember if he laid out any figures. Doesn't he account for about 10% of Yahoo's ad revenue though? Google's banking on those typos for sure.

Yeah, I agree. I always think of the late 80's movie Cyborg, with Jean Claude Van Damme. Cool stuff when you're 12 :D

You're only allowed to say "the information super highway", if you're wearing knee high striped socks, and Adidas shorts that don't quite cover both testicles.

LOL. We're pissed because we can't have anything.uk without the daft ".co" in the middle.

Yeah, I always imagined the ".co" would cause traffic to bleed off to the .com, or the plain .uk. I myself am guilty occasionally of just typing in "domain.uk", when I'm rushed and not thinking.
