Recently, I've been having issues with Firefox. The past few weeks it has been completely crashing. It crashed 3 times today, and one of those times I was only reading an news article. I was not straming video or even running any additional tabs.

So what alternatives are there (besides IE)?

Fastest browser on the planet, without the privacy concerns of Chrome (owned by Google) is Opera. Visit http://opera.com

Google = privacy concerns.

I'm still happy with mozilla (now called seamonkey) just for the convenience of an all in one package, but opera is nice also, have to second that.

I had a few freeze-ups with Opera. Perhaps I'll try reloading.

This.

Since the first time I tried Chrome I have only used FireFox for things Chrome couldn't do, and hated every minute of it. And after having tried Opera, I know use that instead of FireFox for things Chrome wont do. Opera is also better than FireFox imo

Firefox is the new Internet Explorer: If you are still using it you lack tech savvy.

Saw something the other day that shocked me. IE now only commands 50% of the browser market and Chrome is over 10%. For years it was 90%+ IE and 5% FireFox.

I should develop my BrowserMarketshare.com :)

Well, it seems ok so far, but I won't know much a out it until I've used it a bit.

Only problem so far: I can't stream movies and TV shows from Netflix.:disappointed:
Apparently, Netflix caters to the non-tech savvy (according to some of the comments here about FF and IE).

Netflix is just catering to the masses. Most people use either IE or FF.

Chrome if you don't mind google noting all your browsing habits and probably more. Opera for speed.

So who commands the other 40% now?

I used opera along with safari yesterday.

I like them both.

I like the tools and add-ons for FF, and overall perhaps use that most.
