Are there any registrars besides Dotster that offer free whois privacy for your domains? (giving no results in whois)

well, it looks like dotster doesn't have this either. they have a system for email address privacy, like other registrars have... is there any way to "hide" your whois record?

But there are no registrars offering a way to "opt out" of whois and return nothing on whois searches?

Nope, because they would lose their registrar status if they offered this feature. It's against ICANN rules.

You could use domainsbyproxy.com if that is what you are looking for.
